I keep these old messages here mostly because people keep finding them in Web searches, and I hate broken links. Most of those searches are about the FunLove virus, or the "Elf Bowl" game. you have to download a program called fix fun. it runs in dos. after you run that you have two choices. #1 delete every .zip, .jpg, .gif, .bmp, .mp3, mpg or mpeg , .mov from your entire drive, since that is why the virus keeps coming back. it uses them to compile into the exe installer for the virus. if you have or had funlove double click on any of those file extensions i just mentioned and the icon will change to a blank exe icon. if you click on that the virus comes back.
#2 since option #1 will probably fuck your whole shit up anyway, i would wipe the drive from dos using fdisk. if you format the drive from another drive the virus will even infect both the drive you are formatting from, and the newly formatted drive. well enjoy and god bless. i know your pain. do what i said and you may lose some important shit but atleast the virus will be gone for good. they should pay me to do this. imagine there are people that make $100,000 a year that know far less than me.
